Lesson Planning and Differentiation
Margaret Drost
The importance of lesson planning lies within the idea of staying organized and creating structure around your instruction. Setting a schedule in which you follow the "I do, We do, You do" engagement.
Defining HLP's Related to Classroom Instruction
High Leverage Practices that are based around instruction mainly focuses on setting goals and standards for the children to work toward. If you put a goal at hand you also are better able to measure their learning and assess where they stand with the classroom goals. Providing feedback to young learners can overall help motivate them and engage them in new learning in order for them to not feel excluded on new material.
