Why I want to be an educator?

I grew up in a small town so of course everyone knew everyone. However, even though all families knew everyone, the teachers still started the year off with a fresh mindset of who you were. They gave you the chance to show them who you were. I want to be a pillar for all students to be able to identify themselves to me. I want all of my students to come into my room and feel open to be who they want to be. I want to be a special education teacher specifically, because I want my students to feel like they are enough if thats what they believe.
